1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RepoPrism ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

RepoPrism is an AI-powered code analysis platform that scans GitHub repositories to identify security vulnerabilities, code quality issues, architectural patterns, and dependency impact. The Service uses AI language models provided by third parties such as Groq and Google Gemini to analyze code. Analysis results are informational and should not be treated as a substitute for professional security audits.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not use another person's account without their permission.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Analyze repositories you do not own or do not have explicit permission to analyze.
• Attempt to bypass scan limits, authentication, or any security measures.
• Use automated scripts or bots to make excessive API requests.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission from us.

6. Free and Pro Plans

6.1 Free Plan

The Free Plan provides 7 repository scans per calendar week, resetting every Monday at midnight UTC, with access to all analysis features. No payment information is required. We reserve the right to adjust free plan limits with reasonable notice.

6.2 Pro Plan

The Pro Plan provides unlimited weekly scans and additional features as described on the pricing page. Pro Plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. Prices displayed in USD are approximate and subject to currency conversion.

6.3 AI Keys

The Service requires you to provide your own AI API key from providers such as Groq or Google Gemini. These keys are stored in your browser only and never on our servers. You are responsible for any charges incurred with your AI provider as a result of using this Service.

7. Payments and Billing

• All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store payment card details.
• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period.
• All fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
• In the event of a failed payment, we will notify you and your access may be downgraded to the Free Plan.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of RepoPrism and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain all ownership of your repositories and code. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access and analyze your repository content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim any ownership over your code.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. ANALYSIS RESULTS ARE AI-GENERATED AND MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL SECURITY VULNERABILITIES OR CODE ISSUES WILL BE DETECTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPOPRISM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING THREE MONTHS.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with GitHub, Groq, Google Gemini, Clerk, Supabase, and Razorpay. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for any actions or omissions of these third parties.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on our website or by email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
